Text Relay call charges
Text and voice calls
Calling a UK landline, UK mobile, or international number should not cost you any more per minute via Text Relay, than it would for a voice telephone call – although it may take longer.
Because calls from a textphone can take longer, your telecommunications provider should offer a refund on textphone calls.
Refunds on calls from textphones
Due to the nature of Text Relay calls and typing speed, they can take longer than a voice call. For this reason, if you're deaf, hearing impaired or speech impaired, you should be able to get a refund for the text part of your calls. Please contact your provider for more details.
Test Relay Assist calls
Text Relay Assist calls are charged at your telecommunications provider’s standard rate for calls to 0870 numbers. Contact your provider for pricing details.
